Day 1: Puerto Maldonado / Monkey Island / Hikes

Pick up from the airport and/or bus terminal, transfer to the office where you can leave some luggage that you are not going to take on the tour. Then transportation to the port (captain port) 15 minutes by boat down the river, along the Madre de Dios river in a motorized boat that will take us to our lodge, where we will accommodate ourselves in our comfortable rooms, then accompanied by our guide we will hike through the lodge trails where our guide will explain the fauna and flora that inhabits this area. Then we will have lunch and then travel in our boat for 20 minutes until we reach the monkey island, a great opportunity to see 5 species of monkeys that inhabit this island, then we will prepare to return to the lodge, and back at sunset we will observe alligators with With the help of our flashlights, we will be able to see the red eyes of the alligators and your guide will explain everything related to alligators. Return to the lodge where we will spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

Day 2: Parrot clay lick / Tambopata Reserve “Sandoval Lake” / Caimaneo

Very early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. we will visit the La Cachuela parrot clay lick, on a trip of approximately 50 minutes, where it is possible to see a variety of species of parrots that gather on the wall of the Madre de Dios river at eating clay in a multicolored spectacle of flights and screams, an experience that he will never forget. Day 3: Collpa de palmeras / Tambopata Reserve “Lago Sandoval” / return to Amazon Lodge

Very early in the morning we will get up and take the rowing canoe to row across Lake Sandoval until we reach a place where it is possible to see a palm tree lick, where hundreds of macaws come to eat the dry palm trees, which contain a high content of mineral salts necessary for digestion. Day 4: “Suspension bridge, kayak and fishing / Lodge

After breakfast, we will take our kayaks from our lodge, through the Madre de Dios River and arrive at the adventure activities center, we will walk for 5 minutes, and then we will ascend a 20-meter-high tower, from there through the hanging bridges, to be able to see the jungle from the top of the trees, as the animals see it, then return to the lodge. We will spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

Day 5: Visit to the native family/ Hikes/ Transfer Lodge – Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast, we will walk through the trails and visit a local farm to see local fruits and plants and look for more animals, we will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we will go to a native family, from the “Machiguenga” tribe. Where we can talk and learn their customs, I return and we will get ready to return to Puerto Maldonado and from there to the bus terminal, airport, hotel.
