Day 1:

  • Pick up from hotels in the center of Puno 07:40 AM
  • Departure by boat from the Port of Puno. 08:00AM
  • Visit of 2 Floating Islands in the Uros 08:30AM
  • Departure by boat to the island of Amantani. 10:00AM
  • Arrival at the Port of Amantani Island 01:00 PM
  • Lunch at a local family home 02:00 PM
  • Walk to the top of the island (01 hour) to see the sunset, Cerros
  • Pachamama and Pachatata. 04:00 PM
  • Return and Dinner at the family home. 06:00 PM

Day 2:

  • Breakfast on the island of Amantani. 07:00AM
  • Departure from the Port of Amantani to Taquile 08:00 AM

What to wear?

  • Bring light and warm clothing, the weather is cold in the morning, hot at noon and windy in the afternoon.
  • Bring a hat and/or sunscreen.
  • Comfortable shoes for the walk.
  • Cash if you want to buy souvenirs, they don’t accept credit/debit cards.
  • Drinks and/or snacks.
  • Bring personal hygiene items.

Important: Try to bring only the essential minimum, since it is only 1 night, large suitcases can be left at your hotel (one backpack per person or one small suitcase is recommended).
