Itinerary

Day 1

• Pick up from the airport or hotel (9:15am).
• Boarding at the Nanay port.
• Navigation towards the crossing of the Nanay and Amazonas rivers.
• Stop at the Itaya-Amazonas river crossing to search for dolphins.
• Trip by the Amazon river of 2 hours and a half approx.
• Navigation through the tributary, Yanayacu River.
• Arrival at the Lodge. (12:30 pm)
• Welcome and Lunch. (1:00pm-2:00pm)
• Walk in search of medicinal plants and strangling trees.
• Search for sloths, toucans and other diurnal species.
• Watching the sunset and sunset.
• Dinner. (7pm to 8pm)
• Night walk to search for tarantulas, amphibians, alligators and more nocturnal fauna.
• Return to the lodge to rest. (9pm approx.)

Day 2

• Sunrise sighting (5:30am).
• Observation of herons, eagles, parrots and exotic birds.
• Breakfast. (7:30 am)
• Exploration of the Yanayacu River for fishing for piranhas, permit, tarpon, etc.
• Search for Iguanas.
• Canoeing and observation of flora.
• Visit to the Yaguas community (Optional).
• Lunch. (12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
• Visit the Amazon River to search for dolphins.
• Observation of the sunset.
• Mud bath and swim in the Amazon.
• Return and Dinner. (7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
• Night excursion to feel the sounds of the jungle, search for anacondas and alligators. (8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.).
• Return to the lodge to rest.

Day 3

• Howler Monkey Search (6:00am-7:00pm)
• Breakfast. (8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
• Navigation through the falcón lagoon.
• Sport fishing.
• Lunch. (1:00 pm)
• Search for the Victoria Regia blade.
• Rafting.
• Return and Dinner. (7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
• Stories of Amazonian tales and myths. (8pm).

Day 4

• Observation of the sunrise (6:00am-7:00pm)
• Breakfast. (8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
• Navigation on the Yaguacocha river..
• Search for fauna, monkeys, sloths.
• Lunch. (1:00 pm)
• Return to Iquitos. (2:30 pm)
• Arrival to the city of Iquitos (approx. at 5:30 pm).
• Includes a return leg from the river port (Airport* or hotel)
• End of service.

It includes

• Pick up from the airport from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. or hotel. (Tour starts at 9:20 am) – Pick up invalid for AIRBNB.
• Transfer to the lodge inside the jungle.
• Single/double/multiple room shown in the images.
• Guide services (Spanish/English).
• Activities in the jungle.
• Food (1st day lunch and dinner / 2nd day breakfast, lunch and dinner / 3rd day breakfast, lunch and dinner / 4th day breakfast and lunch).
• Rain boots if required.
• Private river transport.
• 1 section return to the city at the end of the tours.
• * Return to the airport. (Arrival time at the airport from the fluvial port approx. 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, consider schedule to avoid missing flights).
• * Return to the hotel. (You will need to provide us with the name and address of your hotel – not valid for AIRBNB transfers).

What to wear?

• Schedule your arrival flight before 8:30am.
• Light cotton clothing, preferably light coloured, avoid black as it attracts mosquitoes.
• Light, long-sleeved shirts for protection from the sun and mosquitoes.
• Bring a refillable bottle of water.
• Bring a head and hand torch.
• Batteries.
• Hat or cap.
• Sunglasses.
• Sunscreen.
• Optional vaccination, the use of repellent is essential.
